The Great Barrier Reef

Did you know that there is a living thing viewable from space? It’s true! This living thing is called The Great Barrier Reef and it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Great Barrier Reef is located off the coast of Australia. Thousands of tourists visit it each year to do the activities that this magical place has to offer. You can snorkel, swim with dolphins, whale watch, take boat tours, and more. The Great Barrier Reef is a big contributor to the Australian economy as well as the outback.

The Great Barrier Reef is home to a ton of marine life and is made up of 3,000 individual reef systems. If you want to visit the Great Barrier Reef, you should go between June and October. The average cost is about  $1,000. There are a lot of islands to visit around the Great Barrier Reef with different activities. Cruises are a great way to see the Reef. All around, this is a pretty cool place to visit if you ever get the chance.
