My Learning Experiences In Quarantine

The past few weeks have been hard for my family, the George family- (Brinlee, Aubree, Barrett, and Kellon George). On the night of the 24th of September, we found out that we would have to be in quarantine for 2 weeks due to a family member’s positive test of COVID-19. All four of us had to do online school, and that was going to be a big adjustment.

The first week of online school was kind of frustrating and took a lot of hard work, focus, and patience. I was relieved that the teachers had already set up a routine for online school, so that made learning easier. One of the hardest parts about doing online school was that you couldn’t just go up to your teacher, and ask them a question . . . but thank goodness for email! My sister Brinlee said that the hardest part for her was not being able to stay focused, because there were so many things going on around her. On the other hand, she also said “I enjoy being able to do my schoolwork on my bed or the couch, instead of having to sit at a desk.”
