Every year the Cody Middle School participates in Make a Wish Foundation. Each grade competes on who can raise the most money.  Make a Wish Foundation raises money to grant wishes for kids with critical illnesses. They are also a non-profit organization. If you want to see which grade is winning then head on down to the cafeteria and you can see which grade has the most stars.

Some of the wishes that they made come true include meeting Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and James Harden. Other kids wished to go on the field of their favorite soccer team’s game, or ride in their favorite cars and be a car designer. Even racing on a dirt road. At three years old Tyren got to be a firefighter. Make a Wish has been making dreams come true since 1980!

Every year there is an auction to go to lunch with the kids’ favorite teachers. This year a group of 21 kids raised a groundbreaking $900 just for one teacher, Mrs. Skoric. The lunch was located at China Town Buffet. In conclusion, CMS has been contributing and caring for the Make a Wish Foundation for several years.
