2018 was a very eventful year. Everything from flossing to a government shutdown. Fortnite was the most popular video game, big shocker. Followed closely by Far Cry 5 and God of War. The top grossing movies were Black Panther, Infinity War, and Incredibles 2. Some other influential movies were Jurassic World 2, Deadpool 2, Jumanji 2, Antman and the Wasp, and Mission Impossible.

Rest in peace Stan Lee, 1922 – 2018. Another influential person, George H. W. Bush also passed away this year. Sadly, the civil war in Syria is ongoing. This year, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held the first summit ever with a united states president. Hurricanes Florence and Michael pillaged the south this year, causing billions of dollars in damage.

President Trump is now pressuring Congress to fund a wall. The Winter Olympics were held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The three most visited websites were Google, Youtube, and Facebook. The most listened to song of 2018 was Girls Like You by Maroon 5 and Cardi B.

Overall, some good and bad things happened. One thing is for sure though, 2018 was very unique.
