CMS welcomes Mr. Papich as the new physical education teacher due to Mrs. Black becoming our guidance counselor. He is in charge of introducing new P.E. activities and helping the kids understand it. Mr. Papich said, ¨Being at Cody Middle School has been great, I have had lots of fun teaching here”. Before he came to CMS he coached high school football in Powell. He plans to coach and teach P.E. for the next 20 to 30 years. His policy is, “I want my students to raise their heart rate in class and have fun while doing it.” He thinks that’s the trick sometimes, figuring out new ways to get kids moving and keep them enjoying it. What he finds most frustrating is when kids start playing with P.E equipment before he explains the rules. His real main goal is to figure out new ways to get kids moving and enjoy it, such as fun games.
