Laura Harrison is our front office secretary. She has worked at CMS for 19 years, taking care of attendance and keeping our school working smoothly. Mrs. Harrison’s favorite part of her job is being around the kids and the people she works with. The main part of her job is greeting people when they come in and taking attendance. She wishes she didn’t have to buzz people in and out of the office and front doors so much, though she realizes that these are all for the safety of the staff and students. In the mornings it is her job to make sure there is a teacher for every class. She gets the substitutes in to the right classes. For the most part she tries to get ready the night before.

When she gets home after school, Mrs. Harrison throws off her shoes and greets her puppy. She is an English shepherd who is 9 months old. Mrs. Harrison’s favorite thing to do is hike with her family. She loves to cook, especially orange chicken and lasagna. She grew up in Texas then moved to Cody. She has a son who lives here also. Her favorite hobbies are hiking and reading.
